Yaay! I finally started up my reef tank! It just has live sand and live rock in it now. When it starts getting a little algae in it, I can get some snails or hermit crabs in it. Then I'll be able to get a few fish (probably gobies). Then I can get coral! Also, there are little red buds growing off of the rock. It is hard so I think it is some kind of coral growing. This weekend I am probably going to get a coral lamp. It will probably be about $60. Oh yeah, and this is a 10 gallon tank. It is going to be a bit harder than most reef tanks. I'm pretty sure that it is classified as a nano reef tank.
that's pretty cool!! too bad you can't turn your atrium into a tank!

love you! aunt kari
How exciting, Nate. It looks great! I think the idea of turning the atrium into a (super) tank is a good idea. Let me know if you do it :-)
